Samples would not usually be taken of rejected loads, but this could be done if the load forms part of a large contract where substantial amounts of waste have already been accepted.

Odour:  Describe the odour of the sample.  The drop down list offers a range of usual smells but there is any other type of smell this should be recorded in Sample Comments and attention drawn to the issue when the file is emailed to CEMEX.  Additional options for the drop down can be added.

Sample Colour:  The colour should be described using the available drop down list of options.  If additional colours are required please contact Kevin Wilson.

Technician:  Select your name from the drop down list available

Technician Co.:  Select the company you work for from the drop down list

Qualifier and Qualifier Note:  These fields are only used where a planned sample cannot be taken.  This situation does not arise when taking waste samples since these are on demand.  No entries should be made in these fields.

Date sent to Lab: Select the date the sample was collected by the laboratory courier from the drop down.  This should be the date the courier actually collected the sample and it left the site.

Weather:  A set of weather description options are provided in the drop down.  Please select the most appropriate description for the time of sampling.
