Occasionally you may need to take additional samples, i.e. ones that have not been scheduled through SPM or in addition to those scheduled. To add additional samples to EDGE:

1.Select a location from the Location Chooser

2.On the Field Sample tab select the Add icon

3.Select the Task Code the sample must be associated with

4.The Sample ID must be created in a specific way.  You will be given a Sample ID to use by CEMEX, along with a Type.  Type N is a ‘Normal’ sample but others can include Field Replicate, Blank etc.  CEMEX will explain the purpose of any extra samples

5.Complete all the fields in the usual way.

6.Complete the Field Result information as before.
